Firstly, Vande Matram, long live India, bharat mata ki jai and jai hind! Ideologically, I am non-compromising with the respect of Institutions of Indian Democracy. I believe that it is contempt of nation if we don’t respect it. Now, just recently , our chief justice (now , he is ex-chief justice) did exactly same.

He committed a contempt of institutions of nation that is supreme court by doing away with the charges of contempt of court on senior advocate Prasahant Bhushan with just a fine of Re 1. What is worse? Being an advocate himself, Bhushan should have refrained from giving the fine. Why? I believe that the respect of our most fundamental institutions can not be traded with even millions and trillions.

And, it was doubly the contempt of our esteemed institutions on behalf of Chief Justice Arun Misra and later on on behalf of Prashant Bhusan to do away with the whole thing with just Re1. Justice does not come so cheap — in India , for poor people, at least. Attorney General Venugopal seemed to be the only person who maintained sanity — at least in the end.

Okay, what else? I want to give you a hang of what the Chief Justice of an earlier time had put out about the deteriorating Justice system:“The judiciary in India has deteriorated in its standards because such judges are appointed as are willing to be ‘influenced by lavish parties and whisky bottles’.”- Justice Venkatramaiah , 19th chief justice of India, in office from June 19, 1989 to December 17, 1989.
