It’s time. Think how your next ten years look like. Of course, you got to feed yourself and your family but, still think of something that you value. May be, you want to be a rock musician, or a prolific writer or an artist or a magician or a mathematician or simply a kind person. Anything you are passionate about takes a lot of hardwork. Try a little bit every day. Make an excel sheet. Note your daily achievement, your misses and your hits. If you do it persistently, in 10 years, if you are nothing else , you will still be an experienced persistent person and a persistent person can be anything. Start today. Right now. With a bang ! Oh, sorry, keep it a secret. A precious secret. Why? If you keep a thing secret, you get less competition and obviously who wants competition for things they are themselves passionate about? Also, if you keep it secret, you can see who respects your boundaries, your privacy and your time. People should not exploit your time if you want to leave for "something" important. People should not pester you to know about "something" which you want to keep personal. It’s none of their business. In this process, you know the people who are time sucker and people who are respectful of your time. It helps you choose better people in your life. If you don’t tell what you are up to , you protect yourself from pretentious people and unwanted attention. That’s important for focussed work and peace of mind. Love yourself and that’s how you teach others how to love you.
One request, don’t desire to be seen and heard. Don’t look up for encouragement and don’t wait to hear kind words. Do what you "want" to do anyway because when you want to something, you do it even against the will and desire of people. So, encouragement is the last thing to look up to because it doesn’t matter who applauds and who despises. You are not looking for approval. If you look for approval, it will be converted into a currency.
